First of all... the guy's an asshole and I strongly suspect that he himself - or a friend/accomplice - made the anonymous complaint call to police which led to the stop.
This said... it'll be interesting to see how this shakes out in court.
The video only begins after the stop has been made and the first seconds of tape we see show the cop demanding Grisham's rifle.
Grisham puts on quite a show. If it wasn't rehearsed...

Then of course there's the camera.
Finally... there's the rifle itself; a rifle when he's already a permitted pistol carrier - carrying a pistol!
(*SHRUG*)
Again... if you or I were going to "bait" the police... it would be hard to outdo Grisham's technique.

ALL... THIS... SAID...
What law did Grisham break?
Did the officer indeed place a hand upon Grisham's rifle prior to asking Grisham to turn the rifle over to him? If so... the officer screwed up.
As I understand Texas law... where Grisham was stopped he had every right to be carrying that rifle and every right to be carrying a concealed pistol.
Anyway... just for the record... I don't believe that this is the type of incident that serves the cause of either Second Amendment "fundamentalists" nor Gun "Control" advocates.
