I'd Appreciate a Reasonable, Rational Answer...

...to the following question:

WHAT responsibility did... does... George W. Bush bear for 9/11?

First... allow me to preface:

First and foremost... I myself blame Bill Clinton and his administration. Bottom line... the FIRST attack on the World Trade Center took place in 1993. Bill Clinton had literally two entire terms in office to deal with terrorism. So... how'd Clinton do?

On January 25, 1993, Mir Aimal Kansi, a Pakistani, fired an AK-47 directly into traffic waiting to enter CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, which killed two CIA employees.

On February 26, 1993, Islamic terrorists attempt to bring down the World Trade Center towers by detonating truck bombs in the underground parking garage. The attack fails to topple the twin towers but kills six and injures over 1,000.

On June 25, 1996, the Khobar Towers are bombed by Hezbollah with Iranian backing. Nineteen U.S. servicemen perish and 372 are wounded.

On February 24, 1997, an armed man shoots at tourists on the Empire State Building observation deck. The gunman's note claims that the attack is punishment against the "enemies of Palestine."

On August 7, 1998, Al Qaeda bombs the U.S. embassies in Nairobi and Tanzania, killing 225 and wounding 4,000.

On October 12, 2000, Al Qaeda bombs the USS Cole, killing 17 U.S. sailors and wounding 40 near Aden, Yemen.

Folks... these are just the direct attacks upon us... I didn't bother to include acts of terror against our allies across the globe. The bottom line... certainly Bill Clinton didn't keep us safe. And certainly Bill Clinton didn't "get Bin Laden."

HOWEVER... here's the sad truth: Neither did George W. Bush.

Correct me if I'm getting anything wrong here, but... didn't George W. Bush take over as president and commander-in-chief in January of 2001?

Did the Bush Administration "get Bin Laden" in January of 2001?

How about February of 2001? March? April? May? June? July? August...???

And, folks... we all know what happened in SEPTEMBER of 2001... during George W. Bush's 9th month in office. (With the background - and what should have been the example of what not to do - being William Jefferson Clinton's 96 months in office.)

My friends... as many of you have picked up on from the start... and as has hopefully be solidified as reality during the past week or so... I have very, very, very many concerns about Donald J. Trump. I have many problems with Trump! But, folks... I'm not gonna join in on the nonsense of saying, "Oh! That terrible Donald Trump! How dare he attack President Bush! President Bush kept us safe!"

George W. Bush pushed for the invasion of Iraq... with no "Plan B" apparently for what to do after we "won" the war!

George W. Bush got us into Afghanistan... and then... after winning the war and toppling the Taliban... the dumb bastard decided we should emulate the friggin' Soviet tactic of "digging a hole for ourselves and jumping into it!" (In other words... Bush f--ked up both in Iraq and ultimately in Afghanistan!)

Has Barack Hussein Obama doubled down... tripled down... quadrupled down on nearly every stupid move Bush made? Yep!

Does Obama make Jimmy Friggin' Carter's administration look like "the good ol' days?!" Damn straight!

But for Christ's sake, people... let's call a spade a spade - or in this case a Bush a Bush!
