["We the People"] have 435 representatives
serving in the House and another hundred in the Senate.
Of these 535, a total of 288 are Republicans — 241 and 47
in the lower and upper chambers, respectively.
Of these, only five House conservatives — five — have had
the fortitude to raise concerns about the Islamist connections of government
officials entrusted with positions enabling them to shape U.S. policy.
Sound like the opening of a straight to video spy
thriller?
Maybe...
But I advise you to read McCarthy's three page article.
Feel free to google "Andrew C. McCarthy." Check
out his bona fides.
Indeed, do your own fact-checking into his reporting
here.
(*SHRUG*)
Listen... folks... I'm "hot and cold" on
McCarthy myself! I'm not advising anyone to simply "accept"
McCarthy's analysis as gospel.
The thing is...
(*PAUSE*)
He's not lying. He's not "making stuff up."
The "facts" he uses to make his
"case" are indeed facts.
(*SHRUG*)
Is he going overboard, though... using the facts to
buttress a pre-determined conclusion; or, is he simply using the facts to
buttress a hypothesis that the facts support?
Here's the thing, folks: unless one really delves into the
type of expert analysis the Pentagon, State Department, Intelligence Community,
and our nation's top Ph.d programs traffic in, McCarthy's charge that this
"discussion" is basically not "allowed" to take place in
public is absolutely valid!
If in reading the three page McCarthy piece I've provided
the link to you find yourself "kinda" remembering "something or
another" about the cases he cites without recalling many specifics...
well... that in and of itself should provide food for thought.
