Bill is a happy man, today, my friends!
You know that Facebook crap that I hate...? Well... it finally came in handy! An ol' buddy of mine from the Smith Hall days just contacted me - and he did it not just by Facebook invite (which I'm ignoring for now since I don't really wanna have "Facebook friends"), but via email... just as I had asked!

Wu, who was born in Taiwan is the first Chinese-American elected to Congress and has served in the House since 1999.

This episode is the latest in a long list of troubling incidents for Wu, including a previous allegation of sexual assault lodged against him by a former girlfriend when they were both attending Stanford University in 1976. Wu was not charged with a crime, but he was made to see a counselor and was disciplined by the university.
This incident was reported by The Oregonian shortly before the 2004 elections. Wu admitted to “inexcusable behavior on my part” when confronted about the allegations.

A fight at a crowded Kent, Washington car show escalated Saturday afternoon, leaving 10 people shot as cars sped away from the scene and frightened spectators ducked into the safety of nearby businesses.
Hundreds of people packed the La Plaza parking lot all day before the shooting. At least one shooter fired from the front of the shopping center into the crowd.

Shop owners near the La Plaza shopping center in the 23200 block of Pacific Highway South said they locked their doors and hid in back rooms while shots rang out.
