From FreedomWorks (The Good Guys!)

Having received the following "alert"... I'm passing it on:

In the final days before the start of a new Congress, John Boehner and the Republican establishment is quietly purging crucial House committees of strong fiscal conservatives, including:

Rep. Tim Huelskamp (KS) - House Budget Committee (96% FreedomWorks Lifetime Rating)

Rep. Justin Amash (MI) – House Budget Committee (100% FreedomWorks Lifetime Rating)

Rep. David Schweikert (AZ) – House Financial Services (96% FreedomWorks Lifetime Rating)

These three principled legislators have stood with the Constitution even when it was unpopular to do so. Their dedication to the principles of lower taxes and limited government is now being punished by a Speaker who would rather concede to the big spenders in Congress instead of making the tough choices.

Call John Boehner and tell him to restore these genuine fiscal conservatives to their respective committees.

Call House Speaker John Boehner

Now...!!!

Office Phone Number: (202) 225-0600

No. I don't think I will.

Listen... Boehner is the problem. The Republican Establishment is the problem. The only "contact" I want to have with them is calling for their ouster from power!

Listen... unless Tea Party Republicans and other true libertarian-leaning constitutionist conservatives dislodge people like Boehner, McConnell, and their cronies from power there's simply no point in making phone calls, writing letters and emails, or even "lobbying" in person.

All these bastards want from us is our money. All they want for themselves is power. The don't care about the country and they don't care about us, our kids, or our grandkids.

My problem as a would-be activist... I have no "leader" representing me.

Oh... Jim DeMint and his colleagues involved in the Senate Conservative Fund come close... and I have actually sent the SCF monetary donations... but the true "Right" has to unite and publicly seek the ouster from power of Boehner, McConnell, and their cronies.

The Republican Study Group of the House...? Sorry... too big... they don't limit their membership only to true conservatives - the kind of people who detest John Boehner. Nope. Instead they allow any Republican claiming to be a conservative to join. Sorry, but that's a recipe for failure and the main reason why... unfortunately... the RSG has failed to have the impact necessary to advance victory over the forces of politics as usual... of RINOism.

Unless and until the likes of Boehner and McConnell are toppled... there's no hope for this country.

I'm not rich. I'm not influential. I do what I can with my blog here. Until Jim DeMint... or Rand Paul... or Ron Paul... or Michele Bachmann... or Sarah Palin... Newt Gingrich... or Rush Limbaugh... or Glenn Beck... or SOMEBODY with the skills, money, and connections to get the job done starts an actual movement to get rid of Boehner and McConnell... then don't expect me to rush to make phone calls or send emails - let alone expect me to write checks!

Give me a specific focus - a focus on dislodging Boehner and McConnell as move number one - and I'll make the calls... I'll even send the checks.

Otherwise...

In a move not publicly announced, former Rep. Dick Armey, the folksy conservative leader, has resigned as chairman of FreedomWorks...

* GOOD RIDDENCE TO BAD RUBBISH! (READ ON... YOU'LL SEE WHY I SAY THIS!)

Armey, the former House majority leader who helped develop and promote the GOP's Contract with America in the 1990s, tendered his resignation in an memo sent to Matt Kibbe, president and CEO of FreedomWorks, on November 30. Mother Jones obtained the email on Monday, and Armey has confirmed he sent it. The tone of the memo suggests that this was not an amicable separation. Armey demanded that he be paid until his contract ended on December 31.

* BUT... er... IF ARMEY RESIGNED EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 30TH... SHOULDN'T HIS LAST DAY OF PAY BE... er... NOVEMBER 30TH...?

"The top management team of FreedomWorks was taking a direction I thought was unproductive, and I thought it was time to move on with my life," Armey tells Mother Jones.

* YEP. REPUBLICAN FIRST... PATRIOT SECOND. THAT'S CERTAINLY WHAT THE TIMING INDICATES - TO ME AT LEAST!

In the email, Armey indicated that he wants nothing to do with FreedomWorks anymore. ... Armey declined to specify his disagreements with FreedomWorks. Asked if they were ideological or tactical, he replies, "They were matters of principle. It's how you do business as opposed to what you do.

(*SNORT*)

* SOUNDS LIKE ARMEY'S OBJECTION WAS TO FREEDOMWORKS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT THE REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP IN THE HOUSE AND SENATE.

Armey says he doesn't know what he will do next, but he is considering consulting work.

(*SMIRK*)

The Associated Press obtained a contract dated September 24 indicating that Armey will make $8 million in consulting fees in exchange for leaving the organization.

(*SNORT*)

* FOLKS... IT'S SIMPLY OBSCENE...

In an email to Mother Jones, Armey confirmed the $8 million deal, and said the contract was between him and FreedomWorks board member Richard Stephenson.

* SO WHO WILL BE PAYING ARMEY $8 MILLION - FREEDOMWORKS (VIA REROUTING CONTRIBUTIONS) OR STEPHENSON...?

A handful of key FreedomWorks officials said Monday that they, too, were leaving the organization. According to Roll Call, Max Pappas, the former vice president for public policy and government affairs, and campaigns director Brendan Steinhauser are both quitting the group. Two staffers who worked with Steinhauser have also departed.

* GOOD! LET THE RATS FLEE THE SHIP AND THUS HELP THE SHIP AVOID SINKING!

FreedomWorks president and CEO Matt Kibbe and several of the group's board members have not returned calls for comment.

* THEY'RE PROBABLY TOO BUSY CELEBRATING!
