Just recently, two more Barack Obama activists were awarded with high-profile jobs in the media. Ronan Farrow, a former “special adviser” to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Joy-Ann Reid, a former press aide for Obama’s presidential campaign, have both earned themselves jobs on MSNBC, where they can parrot White House talking points directly to the American people.

There are now more than 30 Obama activists who’ve made the transition between the campaign trail and the media megaphone. And it’s not just MSNBC. They’re masquerading at ABC, NBC, CNN, The Washington Post and more!

* YES, THERE ARE REPUBLICANS (MAINLY RINOs) AT FOX AND EVEN MSNBC/NBC, BUT NOWHERE CLOSE TO THE SAME PROPORTION... THE SAME NUMBERS... AND, AGAIN, AS PREVIOUSLY NOTED, MOST OF THESE ARE RINOs WHO HATE THE TEA PARTY AS MUCH OR PERHAPS EVEN MORE THAN THE DEMOCRATS DO. SO, YEAH... DON'T TAKE THE FIRST TWO PARAGRAPHS OF THIS STORY AT FACE VALUE, BUT DO REALIZE THAT IT'S FAR MORE REPRESENTATIVE OF REALITY THAN NOT.

The revolving door turns the other way, too. High-ranking officials from the White House to the Departments of Education, Homeland Security and State got their cushy administration jobs as a reward for their faithful service to Obama as reporters, editors and producers.

The revolving door between the Obama administration and the media is no accident. Barack Obama knows the Leftist media will be his most important mouthpiece in the critical 2014 midterm elections. If he and his media pawns can effectively control the flow of information...

Millions of our fellow Americans rely on the establishment press for their news...

* YEP. AND MILLIONS OF OTHERS RELY UPON LEFT-LEANING SOCIAL MEDIA AND "ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA" FOR THEIR CUES.

* YEP. THERE'S BECK. THERE'S BREITBART. THERE'S CONSERVATIVE SOCIAL MEDIA. BUT, AGAIN, ANYONE WHO IS HONEST MUST ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE NUMBERS ARE FAR, FAR, FAR WEIGHTED TO THE LEFT.

Below is the full, ongoing documentation of the revolving door between the "news" media and the Obama administration. With two political activists, who toiled for Barack Obama, starting hosting duties today with new shows on MSNBC (Ronan Farrow’s 1 PM EST Ronan Farrow Daily and Joy-Ann Reid’s 2 PM EST The Reid Report), the Media Research Center’s list of those revolving between working on behalf of Obama and positions in the news media has reached 30.

(Ours is a strict “revolving door” list, sticking to those with jobs as reporters, editors, correspondents, anchors, producers or media executives, not those who just have or had roles as “contributors” to news outlets. And we’re sticking to those with a direct tie to one of Obama’s campaigns or a position within his administration, so none of the many others in the news media who currently or have in the past put in stints for Democratic officials or even liberal groups which advance Obama’s agenda. For instance, that leaves out Teddy Davis, who in 2010 jumped from ABC News, where he was Deputy Political Director, to the left-wing Service Employees International Union. Also, not here: Relatives, such as ABC’s Claire Shipman, who is married to White House Press Secretary Jay Carney.)

For the second time in what has been a frigid winter in the Northeastern United States, Niagara falls has come to an icy halt as the six million cubic feet of water that typically flow over the falls every minute has frozen over.

The Obama administration is set to announce another major delay in implementing the Affordable Care Act, easing election pressure on Democrats.

* ANOTHER ILLEGAL DELAY... ANOTHER UNILATERALLY ISSUED ORDER TO IGNORE THE LAW BY... er... THE NATION'S CHIEF LAW ENFORCER...

* GEEZUS... EVEN "THE HILL" ADMITS - IN THEIR OPENING SENTENCE - THAT THIS IS "POLITICAL" - "PARTISAN"...

* FOLKS. WE'RE NOT A NATION UNDER THE RULE OF LAW. WE'RE SIMPLY NOT.

Prolonging the “keep your plan” fix will avoid another wave of health policy cancellations otherwise expected this fall.

* FOLKS... THE DEMS GOT EXACTLY THE PLAN THEY WANTED! THEY CONTROLLED THE WHITE HOUSE AND BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS AND RAMMED OBAMACARE THROUGH! NOW THEY KEEP ON "POSTPONING" THE VERY MEASURES THEY RAMMED THROUGH IN THE FIRST PLACE!

The White House is intent on protecting its allies in the Senate, where Democrats face a battle to keep control of the chamber.

* FOLKS... AGAIN... THIS IS "THE HILL" REPORTING THIS. THEY'RE COMING RIGHT OUT AND SAYING THAT OBAMA IS ACTING AS A DICTATOR FOR POLITICAL PURPOSES!

* FOLKS... THERE'S ALWAYS BEEN AND THERE SHOULD ALWAYS BE REASONABLE DEBATE ABOUT "EMERGENCY" POWERS ASSUMED IN TIME OF WAR, REBELLION, NATURAL DISASTER, OR OTHER NATIONAL CATASTROPHE UNDER CLAIM OF "WHAT'S BEST FOR THE COUNTRY, WHAT'S NECESSARY FOR THE NATIONAL INTEREST," BUT, FOLKS... A one-year moratorium pushed the deadline beyond the midterm election, but insurers must send out cancellation notices 90 days in advance. That would mean notices in the mail by Oct. 1, five weeks before voters go to the polls. The administration’s decision to pursue another extension was confirmed by insurance sources who predicted a public announcement would be “imminent.” It is unclear how long the extension will be, though one source believed it could last to the end of Obama’s second term, and perhaps beyond.

An Egyptian court banned all Hamas activity in the country today, the latest step in Cairo’s drive to expel organizations it considers threatening to national security...

Hamas is an offshoot of Egypt's Brotherhood, which the new government declared a terrorist organization in December.

According to the Associated Press, Cairo believes “Hamas is playing a key role in the insurgency by militants in the northern region of the Sinai Peninsula, which borders Hamas-ruled Gaza and Israel.” Hamas has been accused of interfering in Egyptian affairs (many of its leaders are based in Cairo, a relic of the Brotherhood’s time in power) and colluding with militants that have orchestrated attacks on Egyptian security forces, according to BBC.

* GEEZUS... I HOPE OBAMA DOESN'T WANNA FUND THEM! (HAMAS THAT IS!)

Hamas, considered a terrorist organization by the United States...

* BUT NOT NECESSARILY BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES...

...took power in Gaza in 2007 after a brief civil war with the more moderate Palestinian party Fatah, led by President Mahmoud Abbas, and Egyptian officials have since turned to Fatah for help weakening Hamas, Reuters reports. Furthermore, since July, Egypt's military has destroyed more than a thousand tunnels running underneath the Gaza border. The tunnels are a lifeline for Gazans, who use them to smuggle food, building supplies, and books...

* REALLY? "BOOKS." YOU DON'T SUPPOSE THE REPORTER/EDITOR JUST THREW THAT ONE IN THERE FOR THE EMOTIONAL RESPONSE IT MIGHT GET... DO YA? NAH...

Congress Is Actually Debating Subsidies For Beachfront Villas.

* SERIOUSLY!

Here’s the deal: Taxpayers have been subsidizing homes and businesses in flood-prone areas for decades under the National Flood Insurance Program. All too predictably, the government insurance scheme is financially unsustainable and woefully mismanaged by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The program’s debt to the U.S. Treasury now tops $24 billion and counting.

In an act of remarkably good judgment, Congress took steps in 2012 to phase out the subsidies and require rates to be based on a property’s degree of flood risk. Alas, members of the so-called flood caucus are now attempting to renege on the reforms at the behest of realtors and others that legions of property owners are suffering calamitous premium shock.

Don’t believe it. In fact, only five percent of the 5.5 million policies — primarily for second homes, businesses and properties that have experienced severe repetitive losses — actually face an imminent increase (but not more than 25% of their current rate in any given year).

It’s hard to fathom that Congress is actually debating subsidies for beachfront villas. To cave now on such an obvious call would mean that the entitlement crowd is held in higher regard by Congress than the fundamental principles upon which America was founded.

Compared to, say, the nation’s $17 trillion debt or government’s hijacking of the health care system, the vast majority of us don’t care all that much about politicians fighting over flood insurance. But the dispute is actually one of principle: Is there any entitlement demand that we will refuse in favor of individual responsibility?
