Geezus... while it just kicks me in the gut to acknowledge the truth of the above statement, acknowledge it I must!
Folks... face it... neither integrity nor even competence rank high on the American Sheeple's list of qualifications for public office!
Hillary Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State was a total disaster!
Remember "Senator Clinton?" OK... without googling... name one thing she did while a Senator other than assume the title in advance of running for president?
First "First Lady Clinton?" It's a title a president's wife is given! All American presidential wives get the title!
Remember "Attorney Clinton?" Hmm... vaguely... wasn't she a noted constitutional scholar before she met Bill? (Just kidding! No... she wasn't...) Hmm... one of America's foremost legal scholars? (Nope... afraid not.) But she was successful right...? She made millions winning case after case against the finest adversary attorneys in the national and throughout the world... right? (Sadly... no... perhaps you're thinking of fellow-democrat scumbag John Edwards?)
Seriously, folks, although Nancy Pelosi too is a simply horrible person she at least is a true example of a woman who made it on her own! (Well... with a bit of financial help from her multi-millionaire husband...)
Folks... Hillary Rodham Clinton is an empty suit! No one would have ever heard of her had she not married Bill Clinton! Any and all successes of her adult life were directly tied to whose wife she was! (First the state Attorney General's wife... then the state Governor's wife... ultimately the President of the United State's wife.)
For God's sake, if Americans truly desire a return to Monarchy, can't they at least focus upon a competent contender for the Crown?
If you read the article that prompted this newsbite post opening you'll see that it's actually focused not upon politics, but upon Mrs. Clinton's health. Is she sick? Will she "come out" and share her medical problems with us during 2014 and 2015, only to make a miraculous full and total recovery just in time to run in 2016 and win as "the miracle candidate" partly on the sympathy vote? (I'd put nothing past this woman.)
Hell... perhaps Michelle will run! This nation's political system is so broken it could happen! Another Bush perhaps? (Over my dead body!) Another Gore run?
Ladies... Gentlemen... all I know is that I'm living in a nation which just two years ago re-elected a proven failure to a second term. (Though it didn't hurt Obama that the RINOs ran Romney!)
Is there a "new Reagan" on the horizon who can win the GOP nomination and then the presidency in 2016? Let us pray so!

In the latest salvo against President Obama’s health care law, the House of Representatives plans next week to vote on a bill to delay the individual mandate for a year. Rep. Lynn Jenkins, R-Kan., introduced the bill, the Simple Fairness Act, on Friday.
Under the health care law, Americans who don’t purchase government-approved insurance policies face a fine of $95, or 1% of taxable income, for 2014. In 2015, the fine is scheduled to increase to $325, or 2% of taxable income.
The new bill would effectively push back that implementation timeline for a year, by setting the fine at $0 for 2014 and then reducing the 2015 fine to $95 (the current 2014 level).

The move is part of an effort by Republicans to make an issue of ObamaCare during the 2014 midterm elections, by putting Democrats in the position of either defying the administration or voicing support for one of the most unpopular provisions in the health care law.

The president spent over $7.3 million on just three trips in 2013, including $2.1 million to appear on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in August, according to new flight documents provided by the Air Force to a public watchdog group.
Judicial Watch told Secrets that the sky-high jet travel costs for the first family's 2012-2013 Christmas vacation in Hawaii, their beach vacation on Martha's Vineyard last summer and President Obama's brief trip to California in August totalled $7,396,531.20.
The Air Force said it costs $228,288 an hour to fly Air Force One, a massive $48,535 jump from the last estimate of $179,750, or 27 percent.
Getting the documents was a score for Judicial Watch, which has also sought and received Obama administration vacation spending documents from the U.S. Secret Service. Typically, flight costs are not provided. It was also the first authoritative hourly cost provided for operating Air Force One.
“The Obamas are abusing the public trust and the taxpayers with unnecessary luxurious vacations and travel,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “These staggering costs show why these documents were covered up and we had to sue in federal court to get them. Another transparency fail for the Obama gang.”

Kerry Kennedy, the daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy, was acquitted of drugged-driving Friday after a week-long trial in state court here.

A witness testified that he saw Ms. Kennedy traveling around 70 miles an hour and swerving on the highway before striking the truck and losing a front tire.

The first police officer who spoke with Ms. Kennedy after the accident testified that she failed several sobriety tests.

Ms. Kennedy testified that she remembered leaving her home in Bedford, N.Y., that morning and heading to the highway, but nothing after that. She said she never felt the drugs begin to take effect and simply blacked out.
* OBVIOUSLY SHE DIDN'T "BLACK OUT" OR SHE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN CONSCIOUS SO AS TO TAKE - AND FAIL - THE SOBRIETY TESTS!
Prosecutors said Ms. Kennedy would have felt the drug's onset even if she didn't know she took the medication...
* COMMON SENSE SAYS THAT AS WELL!
A few days after the accident, Ms. Kennedy said her doctors said that a partial seizure may have cause the crash. That was before the Westchester County finished tests finding she tested positive for the sleep medication. Ms. Kennedy said when she made that statement she believed it to be the truth.
