I'M CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET FROM HOME! USING PHIL'S LITTLE LAPTOP!

I finally figured out the problem:

I WAS USING A REGULAR PHONE LINE INSTEAD OF THE $10 ETHERNET CABLE I JUST PICKED UP AT WALMART...!!!

I fought the computer... and FINALLY... I won!
