    The BBC World Service is to receive a "significant" sum of money from the US government to help combat the blocking of TV and internet services in countries including Iran and China.

    * BUT... BUT... BUT...

    [I]n agreement is expected to be signed later this month that will see US state department money – understood to be a low six-figure sum – given to the World Service to invest in developing anti-jamming technology and software.

    * BUT... BUT... BUT...

    The US government money comes as the World Service faces a 16% cut in its annual grant from the Foreign Office...

    * THERE IS NO "U.S. GOVERNMENT MONEY...!!!" THERE'S ONLY TAXPAYER MONEY AND MONEY BORROWED IN THE TAXPAYERS' NAME!

    * FOLKS... RATHER THAN CUTTING UNNECESSARY AND/OR UNAFFORDABLE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EXPENDITURES, OBAMA KEEPS CREATING NEW PROGRAMS! THIS IS INSANE! IT'S THE F--KING BBC - BRITISH BROADCASTING CORPORATION!

    In a conference call with reporters, Missouri [Democratic] Senator Claire McCaskill just disclosed that she failed to pay $287,000 in property taxes related to her co-ownership of a private aircraft.

    * CO-OWNERSHIP OF A PRIVATE AIRCRAFT...???

    This scandal comes quickly on the heels of recent revelations that McCaskill improperly billed taxpayers for use of the same private aircraft, for which McCaskill reimbursed the Treasury $88,000.

    * BILLED TAXPAYERS...?!?!

    [McCaskill] used taxpayer money to cover the cost of political travel.

    * AND SO SHE'LL SOON BE GOING TO JAIL, RIGHT...? PAYING SUBSTANTIAL FINES...? RESIGNING IN SHAME...?

    The first day of Operation Odyssey Dawn had a price tag that was well over $100 million for the U.S. in missiles alone.

    * THIS IS INSANITY.

    Senate Foreign Relations ranking member Richard Lugar, R-Ind., says Congress should have had the opportunity to weigh in on what he said will be “a very expensive operation, even in a limited way.”

    * OH, PLEASE... (*SMIRK*)... OBAMA FLAT OUT VIOLATED THE CONSTITUTION BY ENGAGING IN PURELY OFFENSIVE MILITARY ATTACKS ON A SOVEREIGN NATION ABSENT CONGRESSIONAL AUTHORITY.

    On the first day of strikes alone, U.S.-led forces launched 112 long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles, which cost about $1 million to $1.5 million apiece...

    (*JUST SHAKING MY HEAD*)
